5 Daily Devotions to Encourage TeachersSample

Teaching is a gift! You, as a teacher, have been given the gift of teaching. Have you ever thought about it that way? A Spiritual Gift is special divine empowerment bestowed on each believer by the Holy Spirit. And when we look at teaching like that, we can take the pressure and expectation to perform off, and we can trust the Holy Spirit in us to bestow us with what we need to put His teaching on.
When our eyes are fixed on the ultimate Teacher and stay in step with the Spirit, we will know how to best meet our students’ needs. Even better, we won’t need to strive for it since it’s been given to us freely as a gift. So enjoy the gift of teaching you’ve been given!
Dear God, thank You for the gift of teaching. Help me to use it for Your glory and the good of my students. Help me not to take it for granted or to strive for it, but rather, help me to remember it’s a good gift given to me by You, my good, good Father. I love You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan

Whether you are a classroom teacher, homeschooling Mom, Sunday School teacher, or small group leader, I want to share what a good friend reminded me when I packed up my classroom. “We are all teachers. We define our classrooms.” No matter what your classroom looks like, I pray these daily devotions will encourage you and strengthen you as you fix your eyes on the ultimate Teacher.
