For many, the night before their birthday can be the best — but others may have a hard time falling asleep! You're so close to the big day that getting to sleep feels impossible if you're that excited. The anticipation is exciting, but hopefully, you can get some rest knowing something is waiting for you on the other side.
This is how we can be every day in a life spent with Jesus. When the world tells us we have to strive and make ourselves good enough, Jesus invites us to rest instead. And yes — that means getting good sleep. Caring for the body God has given us is important, and taking care of ourselves is something Jesus did and asks us to do. When we lie down, we can release our worries to God.
What can you release into God's hands this week to rest?
