SOAP – Luke 2:20 The shepherds demonstrated faith in action. The shepherds were given the Good News of Jesus Christ and responded by going to seek what the Lord had made known. A believer’s response to a message from the Lord should be one of action. The shepherds were obedient to go and see. Once they did see the Truth, the Messiah, their response was one of glorifying and praising God. Is my response to the Lord's message one of action? In what circumstance is the Lord urging me to seek in faith what He has for me? Those who seek God in obedience and faith will be rewarded. Father God, make me a woman of action. Lord, give me the faith to remain obedient and seek You without hesitation. Lord, make me a woman of praise. Give me the joy to praise You in all circumstances. Lord, make me a woman of perseverance. Give me the endurance to continue joyfully in the work You’ve given me until I see the Messiah face to face. In Jesus' name. Amen.
