What we believe is important for us as Christians. It’s something that has made a big difference across the centuries for Christians all over the world. Knowing what we believe is very important as followers of Jesus, and believing anything we read, see or hear can lead to some pretty sticky situations in our lives.

Imagine a large skyscraper stretching as high as you can see, but it needs a strong foundation to stand tall. Would it be better for the tower to be built on sand? Or on a rock that is strong and solid? Of course, rock! Jesus told a story about building on the rock to teach us how important our foundations are.

What we believe is important, it makes a big difference. We want to build our lives on solid foundations, knowing the truth of what we believe. If we don’t build on solid foundations, we may not stay standing when storms come!
