Discipleship & CommitmentSample

Do you know someone who is really committed? Like over-the-top committed? Maybe someone from within the sports world? Or someone who focuses everything on study or career? Or maybe it is a savings target that dominates everything.
Commitment – that is what we’re talking about. If you look at Jesus, you’ll see a huge commitment as well. For Jesus, it was doing the will of His Father, and the ultimate highlight of that commitment was the cross where He gave everything.
What do you commit yourself to?
In this microCHALLENGE, we challenge you to commit yourself to reading, listening and journaling. It is pretty simple. You read one chapter of the Bible twice every day. Then, you simply pause for 10 minutes and listen to what Jesus is telling you. Finally, you write these lessons down in your journal. Let’s see what will happen.

Need an idea?
You could start with the Bible book John. During this challenge, you will come across beautiful passages in the first 7 chapters of John. Of course, you can also choose another book of the Bible.

About this Plan

Jesus asks a lot from his followers. He asks for commitment and He sets the bar high. In this plan, you will work with this theme in a few days. What does the Bible say? What does Jesus say and how can you practise this?
