God Talks to You and Your Children TooSample

There are several passages in the gospels where Jesus tells His disciples that children are considered the greatest in the kingdom and how the kingdom of God belongs to them. He even goes on to say that unless we become childlike in our faith, teachable like a child, and receive the kingdom of God as a child does, we could miss out on it entirely.
Children have great faith and are sensitive to spiritual things, sometimes even more so than adults. However, they may not fully understand things from a spiritual perspective, so it's our job to cultivate and nurture what God is speaking and doing in their lives. We sometimes underestimate how powerful children are spiritually, but they carry the same Holy Spirit that we carry.
Think about how great a child's imagination is or how easily they believe what we tell them--- how easily they put their trust in us. If we teach them to know the Lord when they're young and to recognize His voice, that same established and absolute trust they have in us as children, they will have in Him for the rest of their lives.
About this Plan

My Christian children's book, "Abram Says: God Talks To Me," inspired this plan. This 4-day plan highlights the importance of setting a solid foundation in knowing God, being led by Him, and teaching our children in their early years that they can hear the voice of God for themselves.
