Experiencing God in JamesSample

After reading James 4, reflect on the following questions:
- Are your passions godly or selfish and worldly (vv. 1-2)? Are your passions destroying you?
- Are your prayers God-centered or self-centered (v. 3)? Is God granting your requests?
- Do you need to draw near to God (v. 8)? How will you know when you have?
- Do you tend to criticize and judge other people? Are you assuming God’s role as judge (vv. 11-12)?
- What has God told you to do? What is preventing you from obeying immediately (v. 17)?
