Wisdom is a two-way street. It is both the active pursuit from our side as well as an active giving to us by God. As we seek, He gives. As we ask, He answers. The more we treasure wisdom, the more He fills our storehouses with it. We see wisdom as having an active effect in the people who choose to live it out in their lives.
Spend time today reading through Proverbs 2:1-8 and look at the action words (verbs) and see all that the father wants his son to do to gain this wisdom from God. Reflect on each of these in prayer and specifically on your own pursuit of wisdom.
Read the passage again and focus this time on what effect God’s wisdom has on those that actively pursue it. How amazing it must be to have these benefits of wisdom active in our lives!

About this Plan
We are at War, a war raging since the day that man decided to choose a way other than following the Counsel of God. But God in His grace gave us the strategy we need to be victorious - His Wisdom. The 'War on Wisdom' is a 5-week reading plan through parts of the book of Proverbs. Our purpose is to help the believer reclaim the Wisdom of God.
