Elevate: A Conversation on BullyingSample

It’s always good to be reminded that God is present with us no matter where we go or what we face in life. That is what Moses is reassuring the Israelite people of in today’s verse. The journey ahead for them would be filled with uncertainty, anxiety, and fear. Moses reminded them God is an ally, and God is close by despite all that. No matter how alone or overwhelmed we might feel in whatever we face, God has not and will not abandon us. It’s a promise. Today, take a minute to pray and ask God for help remembering He is with you every step of the way.

About this Plan

Research shows that 1 in 5 students ages 12 to 18 experience bullying. This means bullying is a big problem. Jesus elevated the value of every human in the way He lived, so we need to elevate the way we think and talk about bullying. In this devotional, we’ll focus on the thing that can change our behavior and begin to solve the bullying problem: seeing the value in others.
