I WonderSample

Have you ever had a time when you had some great plan, or idea that you were so excited about, but it didn’t work out quite the way you planned? I know I have. Recently I tried out for my school's soccer team. As a long-term soccer player and athlete, I’ve had making this team as my goal for a long time. I trained for it, worked hard, and put in the hours to get a spot. But, I didn’t make the team. There were a lot of girls that tried out and not a lot of spots on the team. I was crushed. My plan didn’t work out the way that I wanted it to, and it hurt a lot. I realized then that God has a plan for me no matter what, even when something in life doesn’t go how I planned. I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow, or in the next couple of years, nobody does, but the great news is that God does. God has a plan and God knows what’s going to happen tomorrow, the day after that, and every day. God knows what’s best for us, even more than we do. In this verse the author writes, ‘His understanding is beyond comprehension!’ This means that God knows everything including what’s best for you and me. Today, take some time to think about this verse, and this week try to remember it, or even say it out loud, when life feels confusing or doesn’t go according to plan. Always remember that the God who knows all the stars by name created you, and God loves you more than anyone can even begin to comprehend.
