Adulting 101: 5 Tips to SuccessSample

Another axiom for successful adulting. Declutter your life. Remove the distractions. Control what you can and pray about the rest.
Life can be messy, and whereas you can’t control what others say or do or how they live, you can control your own life. Clean your (spiritual) room. Pick up the clutter. Consider what things are in your control (your responses and reactions) and take action there.
Create an atmosphere of peace in your zone at home and at work. Remind yourself who you are in the midst of chaos and stress. The people and the world around you may be out of control, but your life doesn’t have to reflect that mess.
Control what you can. Pray about the rest.
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15
