Forty days after Jesus rose from the dead, he ascended into Heaven. He gathered his followers together, spoke to them one last time, then went into the clouds, promising to come back one day. In Jesus’ final message to his followers, he told them to go out to all the earth and tell others about him.
Jesus’ message of truth, love, and grace is worth sharing. We need to tell others that by trusting Jesus, they can have an eternal relationship with God and be forgiven of their sin. This message is something we cannot keep to ourselves, we need to follow Jesus’ command and share it with others!
Challenge: Who’s someone that you need to tell about Jesus? Make a list of people in your life who still need to hear about Jesus and take a moment to pray for each of them today.
Take it deeper: Be bold today and go out to share Jesus with someone else. Tell someone your story, or maybe invite someone else to church with you.
