Psalms Streak: A Daily Devotional in the PsalmsSample

Keep on Track
We are all equal, right? No matter where we were born, whether we end up famous or unknown or rich or poor, we are all God's children. Having a nice house, being famous, and having wealth don't make us more royal in the Kingdom of God. No matter our state in this life, we will all die and face God the same way. This may seem like a dark and depressing Psalm, but in reality, it is good news for followers of Jesus! Our place in heaven isn't held by how successful we are on Earth. We don't need to pursue worldly wealth to impress Jesus. There's no need to gain social media followers for His Kingdom. The only thing we need to concern ourselves with is accepting Jesus as our Saviour and living each and every day in pursuit of Him. What a relief, right?!
GO DEEP: Do you find yourself worrying about things like wealth, fame, and social media followers? How can this Psalm keep you on track with what is important in God's Kingdom?
BE BOLD: Who needs to hear this? Who could you share it with?
