What I Really WantSample

Sometimes we get wisdom the hard way. I think that’s what James meant when he talked about the humility that comes from wisdom. Wisdom isn’t just about never making mistakes. It’s about making mistakes, being humble enough to admit them, and then learning from them. Our regret over bad choices doesn’t just have to make us miserable. It can be a tool, a pathway to wisdom because now that we know better, we can do better. We aren’t going to be perfect but we can be wise. We can learn from where we have messed up and work at doing differently next time. What piece of wisdom would you pass along to your younger self?
