No matter what you’re going through or what you’ve been through, you’ve probably experienced some pain, hurt, or disappointment. It’s all part of being human, but it’s never fun! But the good news is this: It’s in those moments when we receive comfort from God. Because God is our helper! When things are really hard for us, God steps in and helps us. God comforts and cares for us. So even when circumstances are challenging, we can choose to never give up on God who never stops taking care of us.

Make a list of ways God has helped or comforted you in life. Tape it up somewhere you’ll see it often, so that whenever you pass by, you remember not to give up on the God who has cared for you.
