Praying the Scripture Through LentSample

The Father
God the Father is sovereign in every way. He is a defender to the weak, uplifter of the downtrodden, and Father to the orphans. All of us fall into one or the other category. The beauty of this is that every one of us are now called His children thanks to salvation through Jesus, and we can call Him “Abba.”
Use these verses to worship and adore Him for who He is, what He’s done, and ask Him to help you live a life that pleases Him and brings Him glory. Read the scriptures as prayers of worship, thanksgiving, and supplication, believing that there is power in every declaration.
Ephesians 4:6 AMP
one God and Father of us all who is [sovereign] over all and [working] through all and [living] in all.
Psalm 68:5 NLT
Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—
this is God, whose dwelling is holy.
Malachi 2:10
Are we not all children of the same Father? Are we not all created by the same God? Then why do we betray each other, violating the covenant of our ancestors?
