SOAP – John 3:16 The gospel message of salvation, our good news, is that God has done all of the work of salvation out of His great love for us. He loved. He gave. He sent. He saved. The obstacle to salvation is our disbelief. Jesus Christ’s sacrifice provides the perfect righteousness. Through that one act of Jesus alone, the opportunity was given to be reconciled with God by simply making the choice to surrender our lives to Him and follow Him. How does God’s great love encourage you? A Christian’s confidence, assurance, hope, and stability can stand on the fact that God did the hardest thing. He sacrificed His Son to become united with those who were His enemies. We serve the God of the impossible who desires to do the impossible in the lives of those He loves. We must trust that God’s keeping power is just as mighty as His saving power. Father God, I thank You for Your great love for me. Help me believe that You will remain very active in my life even after my salvation. Lord, help me to totally rely on You, trust You completely, and surrender all of my circumstances to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
