Love God Greatly - You Are ForgivenSample

SOAP – 1 Corinthians 13:4-5
Christians are given a definition of biblical godly love. Biblical love is the Holy Spirit-led commitment to sacrificial action for another. It is a love that is rooted in giving, not receiving. It is the love that reflects God’s character. Godly love believes that no person is unworthy of the love of God.
How are you demonstrating godly love to those who do not know God? The true test is the demonstration of godly love even when you don’t feel like it and even when love is not reciprocated.
Father God, I thank You for Your great love for me. I thank You for giving me not only a biblical definition of Your love, but also for giving me Jesus, our living example of godly love. Help me to make godly love a dominant practice in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
