God Welcomes EveryoneSample

If you play a game with your best friend and you disagree about the rules, should you split up forever?
No! You can work it out.
Think about how many people follow Jesus. Sometimes people in God’s family disagree about the best ways to honor God. Should God’s family split up?
No way! We can remember some good things we have in common: we love Jesus, and He helps us to love each other. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable to work it out, and sometimes we need help. But it’s always worth it because it honors God and shows His love to people who don’t know Him yet.

Talk Together
- Challenge: Who can say the Bible verse and do the motions the loudest?
- A clamp holds pieces of wood together. What are some things that hold people together?
- What would you tell another kid who isn’t getting along with their friend?
Pray Together
God, please help us love and honor everyone who follows You so more people can see what You are like. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Read Together
Read the Bible verse for today. Take turns sharing what it makes you think about. Ask each other any questions it makes you think of.
Note: If you read the verse in a translation that’s different from the one used in the video, talk about what is the same and what is different in each translation.
