Exodus: A Group StudySample

What is this passage saying?
Those who know Yahweh can worship and serve Him with thanksgiving because His loyal love endures forever.
What is this passage teaching?
God is the only one into whose presence His people can always come singing and serving with gladness. Not because of what they have done, rather because of his power, providence, loyal love, and faithfulness to all generations. He is our good shepherd, and we are the sheep of His pasture (Psalm 100:3, 23:1; John 10:11-18).
How do I respond?
All that you have been given is an opportunity to serve God. There are not some parts of your life that are a part of God’s calling and other parts that are not. Your education, career, family, friends, hobbies – all of them are opportunities to serve the Lord with gladness. Is this how you approach your life? Or are you often distracted to seek yourself first? God’s greatest servants are often wrung out, giving God every drop of their lives in His service. How can you better leverage all you have been given for God’s kingdom? Pray that you will serve out of gladness, trusting that God’s loyal love for you endures forever.
