Married Couples: 16-Day Prayer ChallengeSample

"Love Is Kind"
By Natasha Byrd
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”—Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”—1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)
Heavenly Father, we lift our marriage to You. May our marriage always reflect who You are. May we be kind and compassionate to each other, forgiving each other as You forgive us. May we always remember to speak in love and encourage each other by building each other up, just as You build us up. Thank You, Lord, for the gift of redemption because through redemption, You have freed us from the bondage of darkness. Father, may we walk in Your light and always honor one another. Lord, we love You and thank You for the privilege to live in holy matrimony. We pray this in Jesus Christ’s most precious name. Amen!
