Through the Bible: DanielSample

God Reveals
But as for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because of any wisdom that I have more than all the living, but in order that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your mind.
Daniel 2:30, (ESV)
Daniel interpreted dreams for the king; he did not take the credit but he gave glory to God.
However wise and knowledgeable we are, we fall short of our amazing God. On a project I was working on, it became apparent that the design was not going to meet the specifications. As a young engineer, I felt hopeless, as a costly redesign was required which didn’t go well with my boss and our customer. In despair, I sought God in prayer, and miraculously I was inspired with a new design, which required minimal changes, met the specifications, and cost less. Needless to say, both my boss and our customer were delighted.
Prayer
Father in Heaven, help us to seek You always and reveal to us Your plans. Give us the wisdom to interpret Your plans, so that in all we do, You are glorified. Also, give us the strength to remain faithful to Your plans. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
About this Plan

Daniel was chosen and taken captive to serve the king of Babylon. Amidst all the challenges and sinister schemes by other jealous officials, Daniel remained faithful to God, and God protected and exalted him to a high position in the kingdom. Daniel has set a great example for us: witnessing for Christ is possible no matter the circumstance, even in challenging settings.
