52 Bible Verses to Teach Your KidsSample

When a tornado comes, we look for a strong storm shelter to protect us in the storm. God has promised to be that place of refuge and covering in the storms of life. No matter what you’re facing, run to Jesus! The last part of today’s verse says He is a “present” help, which means He is right there. He’s not distracted or distant from you but close to you. Not only is He close, but He wants to help and is able to.
QUESTIONS
The Bible tells us God is all-powerful, He’s everywhere, He hears us and protects us. How does that give you the confidence to face life’s challenges?
CONFESSION
I will run to Jesus, not away from Him in the difficulties of life. God is my help and strength.
Scripture
About this Plan

Each of these 52 Bible verses is formative to our understanding of God, the world, and our lives. Read the devotional with your child. Ask them the question and have them read the confession out loud. If they are old enough, they can read it, but they can help them understand the verse and how it applies to their lives.
