He would transform the situation in an instant, with the amazing power that he had at his disposal – the power that could only come from his Father, through the Holy Spirit. From the miracle of creation until the end of time, the Trinity is active in amazing and incredible ways. Miracles show God’s power at work. Miracles make a difference. Miracles change lives.

We read about miracles in the Bible and we take them for granted, but Jesus and his power should never be taken for granted! Whether it was showing his power over the elements and forces of nature, evil spirits, sickness and – ultimately – death, Jesus (a miracle baby himself) was always in absolute control, demonstrating absolute power. Miracles show God’s power at work. Miracles make a difference. Miracles change lives.

When we get to heaven, Simon Peter’s mother-in-law will tell us all about her first-hand experience of God’s amazing power. So will Jairus’ daughter, Lazarus and countless others. Miracles show God’s power at work. Miracles make a difference. Miracles change lives.
