Bible in a YearSample

Last but certainly not least… Malachi!
-Malachi is written well after the Jews have returned to the promised land from their exile in Babylon.
-Unsurprisingly, the people have once again fallen into sin and corruption among the priests. God uses Malachi to point out this sin and where the people have not held their end of their forefathers’ covenants with God.
-This practice of priestly corruption and spiritual deadness will continue for another 400 years until the coming of Jesus Christ.
Additionally, enjoy this clip from a sermon in Malachi about what God saves us from: death, hell, and His own wrath. The rest of the sermon can be found at RealFaith.com.
