New Testament in a Year: JanuarySample

READ
Ephesians 4:25-5:15
REFLECT
What part of this reading impacted you the most and why?
How did you encounter or experience God through that? How might it change the world around you?
How do you hold the tension of being angry but not seeking revenge/staying angry/going to bed angry? What does the Bible tell us happens when we do those things? Who gets the advantage?
ENGAGE
Agree - Identify a lie you may be believing. Write down some truths about God. Write down something that God knows about you. Reject the lies. Cling to the truth.

About this Plan

This is part of a series that will take you through the entire New Testament in a year. Each month's plan covers a specific book(s). January completes Matthew, then focuses on Ephesians, Philippians, 2 Thessalonians, and 2 and 3 John. The plan is designed to be used with a small group of friends. Read the daily passage first, reflect on one or more questions, and try the engagement practice.
