Most of us are afraid of something in life. Maybe for you, it’s speaking in front of your whole class, or spiders, or heights, or sitting alone at lunch. Whatever it is that scares us, this verse reminds us we aren’t facing it alone. In everything, God goes with us. Because of that, we can be strong and courageous in whatever we face!

Write down some of the things that scare or discourage you in life. Big or small, put them on paper! Then, on top of that list, write this verse. Let it serve to remind you that God is bigger than what you’re afraid of. You can face those fears because God goes with you and gives you the strength you need to take them on.
