Who Is JesusSample

At first glance, this verse may seem challenging to understand. After all, there’s a lot of history packed into just one sentence! When Adam and Eve sinned (Genesis 3), it meant that humans now had to be separated from God, but because God loves us so much, He didn’t want us to remain separated. So, He sent Jesus to earth to make a way for us to be near God again. Jesus’ death and resurrection—the very thing we remember at Easter—built a bridge that allows us all to have a personal relationship with God.
Take time today to journal a few thoughts about this truth. What does it mean for your life to know that because of Jesus, you are connected to God?
