Believing Faith 

It’s easy to believe in things we can see, but what about the things we can’t see? 

Let’s look at gravity as an example. If you drop a book, it will fall to the ground because of gravity. But what’s gravity?

Gravity is a force you can’t see — it’s what causes the earth to pull the book down if you drop it.

Like gravity, we can’t see God, but we can see His glory all around us! From the stars in the sky to the waters of the deep blue sea, God’s mighty hand has a part in all of it. Even if we can’t see Him we can choose to believe that He is real and follow Him. 

Hebrews 11 - tells us that it’s by faith we understand God created the universe. Faith helps us understand what we can’t see, and it starts with choosing to believe!

Ask yourself: How do you know God is real if you’ve never seen Him? Where can you go to find answers to questions you have about God?

Challenge yourself: Faith starts with a choice. Choose to believe that God is who He says He is and trust that what the Bible says is true. 

Pray: God, thank You for the ways You show yourself to us through the world around us. Help me to trust You no matter what. In Jesus’ name, amen.
