Release It: 10 Prayers for Trauma SurvivorsSample

OPEN HEART TO CONNECT TO GOD
"I long to drink of you, O God, to drink deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you! My soul thirsts, pants, and longs for the living God. I want to come and see the face of God." PSALMS 42:1-2 TPT
Eternal Father, I pray I will open my heart to You as the psalmist David did. Just as the deer pants for the streams of water, let my soul thirst for You. Yes, my tears have been my food day and night, while people ask me, "Where is your God?", but I pray I will continue to open my heart to You. I pray I will not let my soul be downcast by the trials and traumas of the world. I will put my hope in You and praise You because You are my Savior and my God.
AMEN
