Pineapple Principle LifeSample
I was doing a little research on Pinterest one day. Doesn't that sound so much better than "scrolling"? Anyway, I came across this pretty pineapple picture that caught my eye. I am a southern girl, and I love the meaning of pineapple. I am all about welcoming others and hospitality. There was a saying with the picture I had never seen before. It said, "Stand tall, wear a crown and be sweet on the inside." My first thought was, "I could preach that!" My second thought was, "You're not a preacher!" I kept right on scrolling...I mean I went back to my research. I did not even pin that pretty pineapple.
That little saying kept showing up everywhere! God was trying to make me realize He had something for me to say and do for Him. I finally got the big picture, and then I had to get over the fear of doing what He was asking.
After three years of wandering like the Israelites, I got it together. Thankfully it wasn't a forty-year journey. (Numbers 14:26-35) And Wah Lah! We have the Pineapple Principle! Standing Firm in Your Beliefs, Owning Your Crown and Loving Like Jesus. Over the next four days, we will dig deeper into this and hopefully encourage you to live out a Pineapple Principle Life!
Dig Deeper: Is God trying to get you to step out and do something for Him, but you're a little (or maybe even a lot) scared? Or are you wanting to figure out your purpose?
About this Plan
The unique shape and nature of a pineapple, its tall crown-shaped leaves, solid outer peel, and the sweet interior have inspired the Pineapple Principle® way of faith; Standing firm in your beliefs, owning your crown, and loving like Jesus. Young women will be encouraged to plant themselves in Jesus and be confident in who they are in Him. We encourage using the SOAP method to dig into the scriptures provided.
