How to Live an Epic LifeSample

Have you ever met Mr. Murphy of “Murphy’s Law” fame? His most famous law is, “If anything can go wrong, it will.” A corollary to that law is, “If everything seems to be going well, you obviously overlooked something.”
Does it feel like everything is going against you? If you have a proper understanding of God and His love, then even Murphy and his laws cannot harm you. Why? If God is for us, who can be against us?
God is for you. Let that sink in. He is not against you; He is for you! He wants what is best for you. He is not up in heaven watching you, waiting for you to mess up so He can punish you. It is not His nature.
Once you have received forgiveness for your sins and the sin debt has been paid, you are a child of God, and God is for you. He wants you to succeed, and He is going to do everything to make that a reality.
How can you know for sure God is for you? Romans 8:32 states God did not spare His own Son. End of story. It is all about what Jesus did on the cross; it always comes back to the cross. This is God not sparing His own Son, even though He spared Abraham’s son in Genesis 22.
If we can just understand the love God has for us that would enable Him to not spare His own Son, we would realize everything is going to be alright. Then it says if He did that, why would He hold back anything else? We trust God for eternal life, but so often we struggle to trust God for our daily bread.
Are you struggling right now? Going through a hard trial? Remember: God is for you. He will never leave you or forsake you, and He will be with you as you go through the hard times.
