Through the Bible: EcclesiastesSample

God Brings New Blessings
In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.
Ecclesiastes 7:14 (ESV)
God allows different events to happen in our lives, the good and the bad. We must learn to accept and understand that God has allowed these to happen out of His sovereignty and providence. Life is full of unexpected events which makes us realise that life can’t always be in our control.
Looking at the pandemic that we are going through, we see that it was totally unexpected and beyond our control. However, we must learn how to live and adapt to it, so that this season becomes a new life experience for us. It becomes a time for us to seek God’s presence strongly and deeply. We can view it as discipline to bring our soul to higher ground as well that God will bring new blessings.
Prayer
Lord, we thank You for all the events in our life. Lord help us to keep a humble heart and to remember that You are the one in control of every circumstance. We thank You that in every event, we have the opportunity to experience Your Love and that You allow us to come closer to You. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
About this Plan

People often search for the meaning of life from wealth, relationships, careers, charity, religion, etc. However, the reality is that there will always be a void in the human soul unless we are reconnected with our Creator. The author of the book of Ecclesiastes concludes that a life without God is just vanity, for God is where we find the true meaning of our existence.
