The everyday, real faith that we aspire to will grow the more we realize how dependent we are on God’s Spirit in us. We depend on God’s Spirit to bring out God’s character in our decisions and actions. Eventually, faith will change how we act and how we think about things. Staying connected to God in a real way will allow us to become more and more like God. Real faith takes shape when we recognize our dependence on God.

About this Plan
We know that anything of value probably has a counterfeit version out there. The same is true for our faith. Maybe copying the behaviors of other believers was a great place to start your faith journey, but how can we move beyond copying Christians to following Jesus? How do we make our faith our own? The difference between a counterfeit faith and an authentic faith is growth and heart change.
