Day One: Chosen

Question: What first comes to mind with the thought that you are chosen?

I wrote that about a time I was in hospital after surgery on my back had left my legs paralyzed for months.

Why would God want me? Even I didn’t want me.

Maybe that rings true for you.

Maybe you think you’re so full of damage that there’s no way God could want you. 

That was true of me.

Then I read the verse ‘before I made you, I chose you’.

So God chose me before I did or didn’t do a single thing.

Before I was even born.

That must mean he chose me because I’m me.

The same is true for you.

God chose you before

You did anything he chose

You because you’re you
