Do you know what's rough? Learning to spend time with others and growing together. Let's be real, other people's lives can be messy, and if we're being honest, our lives can be even messier. But did you know that we can be involved in the messiness of each other's lives and it can actually be a good thing? When we make spending time with others a habit, it can really change our perspective.
As you read, you'll discover that God wants us to support each other in our mess. Especially in the moments when we are struggling and need support the most. Without support, we will eventually begin to crack, fall, and deteriorate. If you thought growing together sounded messy, living without the support of others can be just as challenging! It takes time and small steps . . . but living with the goal of investing in each other makes for a satisfying life.
How can you use your life and influence in other people's lives to build them up? How can you develop this habit of encouragement so that it becomes your automatic response?

About this Plan
Over time, even the smallest habits can impact your life. So what are the small things you do every day that either draw you closer to God or keep you at a distance? In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll explore these four spiritual habits: spending time with God, spending time with others in community, using our gifts to serve, and sharing our stories of faith.
