I Have Questions

DAY 20 OF 20

You know the game Monopoly? It's stressful. Maybe you were the kid who cried when you didn't get your way, or snatched money from the bank when no one was watching, or flipped the board when you lost. Paying taxes, losing properties, getting stuck in jail, or realizing you're in debt with only five bucks left — yeah, it's stressful.

Life can feel a little bit like a giant, never-ending game of Monopoly, where everyone is trying to win, get more money, and take, and take, and take! If we had a dollar for every time we've ever heard someone say, "When I get money . . ." or, "If I were rich . . .", we would all be millionaires! Sometimes we try to get more money or better stuff because we think it will somehow make us more valuable or important. At times, we all fear we're not good enough, but that's because we've tried to define our worth by things that don't line up with God's design. You see, we don't have to acquire more stuff to be valuable. We're already loved and valued just as we are by the God who made us.

What would it take for you to be satisfied with who you are right now?
