Working from God’s Rest
Father, I know that you give the Holy Spirt to those who ask (Luke 11:13) – I am asking.
Bezalel is the first person the Bible records as being filled with the Spirit of God. It is God’s Spirit who equips him to work with skill and who gives him the ‘know-how’ to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary. God’s Spirit equips us with the wisdom we need for making decisions and teaches us how best to apply the skills we have learned.
For reflection: Where do you need God’s wisdom and enabling in your work today?

About this Plan
Sabbath rest is essential to our identity as God’s people: a gift to refresh us and equip us for good work. But many of us find it hard to do. This prayer journey will help you explore the reasons for restlessness, God’s gift of rest, and how your work – in your job, your home, or your street – can flow from that place of rest and connection with Him.
