Fighting For Me

Have you ever been in a situation where you felt like there was no way you could make it through? Maybe you had a teacher who was tough and didn’t treat you fairly, or maybe a kid at school was spreading a lie about you. 

It’s hard when we find ourselves trapped in an uncomfortable place and we can’t find an escape. 

No matter where you are, God is fighting for you! 

When God led Moses and His people out of captivity in Egypt, they found themselves stuck between an army and the Red Sea. It seemed like there was no way out, but God wasn’t going to just take them out — He was going to take them through. Literally! He parted the waters and took them through the Red Sea on dry ground! (Read the full story in Exodus 14.) 

Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid… The Lord will fight for you.”

When God is fighting for you, you can trust that you’ll come out of any struggle stronger than you started! It may be scary when you’re walking through it, but God will help you win!

Father, thank You for fighting for me! You’re such a good God to fight for Your children. When my life feels uncertain, help me to rest in what I do know — You are good and You are on my side! Amen.
