Many times, people underestimate the schemes of the devil. Other times, people fall into the trap of looking for a devil in everything around them. Neither of these are wise nor balanced approaches. Peter encourages vigilance; Paul encourages proactiveness; James encourages resistance. We have the privilege today of asserting these three approaches with wisdom and confidence.
