It is in the midst of this that Isaiah prophecies of the ultimate sign: people walking in darkness seeing a great light!
A child will be born, a son given. He is going to bring a kingdom reign of peace with him that will never end. Just as light was the creative force at the beginning of time, this light that dawns will bring about something new: the new creation.
We may feel confused sometimes about what to think and believe with everything that goes on in our world. Let's remember that we can look back. The light of the world, Jesus, has come. His kingdom has been established. This prophecy came true!
