Navigating TransitionSample

Disorientation: Questions
Lord, I put my questions to one side and choose to listen to the questions You are asking me.
Gradually, during the phase of disorientation we notice a change in the questions we are asking. This awareness can be helped by journaling – a prayerful written reflection on daily life. Our focus shifts from arrival at a destination, to how we journey; from achievement to purpose; from status to identity. Our stance, like Job’s, changes from seeking answers to one of listening to God’s questions. ‘Our lives are not problems to be solved but journeys to be taken with Jesus our friend and finest guide’ (Henri Nouwen).
