Refined Under PressureSample

Day 05: No Sniveling
Pray
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen.
Read
Exodus 3:1-22
Reflect
God appears to Moses in a burning bush. How does Moses, an experienced shepherd, respond, and how does he approach God? God states that he is "I AM WHO I AM." What is significant about God's name? How does God respond to Moses' doubts and questions? How does God respond to your doubts and questions?
Respond
God, you are Commander of all. Your promises are sure and your hand is steady. Help me to put aside my worries and to acknowledge you as almighty God. Amen.

About this Plan

Doing hard things gives you extraordinary capabilities. As your character is refined under pressure, it helps shape a clearer picture of your unique place in the world and influences how you serve, lead, and relate to those around you. This plan will take a look at the origins of God’s character through his first dealings with people and how he’s cared for us throughout history.
