Twinkle in the Eye



There is a phrase that parents use to describe a time before someone was born: “All this happened a very long time ago, when you were a mere twinkle in your father's eye.”  This is a humorous, yet, special idiom that describes how children are special to their parents. Imagine for a moment how special we are to our Heavenly Father. God knew us before we breathed our first breath. He is omniscient, so He knows every detail of our life from the womb to the grave. We can trust Him to have preeminence in our lives so we can be consecrated for His service. His plan is perfect and His love never fails us.







Prayer: Jesus, Your love never fails and I thank you that You know every detail of my life. I surrender my ambitions and acknowledge You as Lord of my life. May Your will be done in my life. Help me to trust You with my whole heart and not hold anything back.
