The Four Gospels And The Bible That Jesus ReadSample

Section IV. The Prophets
This section goes back to the second section of the TaNaK. It completes the narrative history of God’s people picking up in Joshua and concluding in 2 Kings, followed by the major and minor prophets. This section, again, ends by looking forward. At the end of Malachi we read:
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.” — Malachi 4:5-6
About this Plan

This plan is broken up into 7 sections. 4 New Testament sections beginning with a different gospel, and 3 Old Testament sections, composed of one of the sections of the TaNaK. (The Law, The Prophets, & The Writings.) Each OT section ends by pointing forward to the Messiah to come and then is followed by a gospel of the One who came.
