There's Hope For TodaySample

“We have modeled our educational system after the United States, so we cannot allow religious materials to be distributed in our schools,” said a regional minister of education in the Philippines. What a tragic irony!
It is conveniently forgotten by modern administrators, that religion was once the soul education in America. The first eight American colleges – Harvard, William and Mary, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Rutgers, Dartmouth, Columbia and the University of Pennsylvania – held religious affiliation. Four were birthed out of the “Great Awakening.” The following sentence is found in the original charter of Princeton: “Cursed is all learning that does not point to the cross of Jesus Christ.” Malcolm Muggeridge summed up our present state when he said, “We have educated ourselves into imbecility.”
Has education improved since religion was jettisoned? Hardly! William Bennett points out, “Today, there are greater, more certain, and more immediate penalties in this country for serving up a single rotten hamburger than for furnishing a thousand schoolchildren with a rotten education.”
If nations flounder when Christ is rejected, should educational systems fare any better?
