June 21—Celebration

On this our final week of the GO2020 series, we will see that God has won! God has already decided how the story ends! Despite all the attempts, especially from the evil one to thwart God’s plan, one day Jesus will return in power and glory. God has shared the end of the story with us so we can rejoice even in our suffering and trials because we know that our King, Jesus, is worthy and will make everything right.

As members of the body of Christ, we are called to finish the race set before us, filled with joy and love, as by our lives we give witness to the power of the gospel that changes our lives. God’s kingdom embraces differences that the systems of this world set up as barriers to Christian unity. Especially in these times, it is important for all believers to understand the oneness we have in Christ.

Memorize

Read this week’s memory verse, Revelation 7:9. You’ll be working on memorizing this verse throughout the week. Today, simply read it and rest.
