Great! You made it past the first day. You learned more about who Jesus is and what He means to all people everywhere. (He’s pretty amazing, right?) There’s more to learn about! So, let’s get on with today’s reading, video, and discussion—but first, a prayer.

Pray Together

God, as we talk about following Jesus today, please speak to us through Your Holy Spirit. Help our hearts feel Your great love and know we can choose to be made right with You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

If anyone in your family wants to start following Jesus, take time together to let them pray from their heart to accept Jesus as the Lord of their life, their Savior from sin, and their closest friend. Celebrate together!

If you’d like some ideas on what to pray, here’s an example of a salvation prayer:

Dear Jesus, forgive me. I know I’m a sinner, and I need You to save me. I’m turning from my old life, and I’m turning toward You. I need Your love. I need Your grace. I need Your forgiveness. I accept Your forgiveness, and I give You my life. Thank You for giving Your life for me—now You have mine! In Your name, amen.
