DAY 3 OF 5

He Is The True Vine.

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.” John‬ ‭15:1 ‭KJV‬‬

John‬ ‭15:1‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.” He is the Vinedresser. He is the Source. He is the True Vine. There is no void that He cannot fill. There is no problem that He cannot solve. In fact, the definition of a Vinedresser is, “A person who prunes, trains, and cultivates vines.” Let His Word prune you. Let His Word correct you. Let His Word train, develop, and cultivate you. Let His Word strengthen you. Let His Word penetrate and pierce every area of your heart.

John‬ ‭15:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “ Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” God wants you to bear more fruit. He wants you to walk in purpose — He wants you to walk in your call. Obey His Voice. Obey His Command. Choose to follow His Word and let His Word dwell within the walls of your heart. As you allow His Word to cultivate the ground of your heart — choose to let the Husbandman lead and steward every area of your life.

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Husbandman” is, ‘Georgos’ (G1092) which means, “A Land-worker, tiller of the soil, a vine dresser.” Let Christ till the soil of your heart. Let Christ till the soil of your family and home. Let His Word nourish the soil of your heart. Let His Word feed and satisfy you. Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Hunger after Christ. Choose to crave His Way of doing things. Let Christ till and prune the deepest parts of your heart. Let Christ heal you. Let Christ become your Husbandman.
