Challenge #3 – Share Like Jesus 

Jesus loved talking with people. He was a good listener, and He often asked questions that made people think. 

One day on His way to Galilee, Jesus stopped for a drink of water. At the well was a woman. He asked her, “May I have a drink?” Then He went on to explain that if she knew about God’s gift, she would have asked Him for a drink because He could give her living water. See John 4:10.

The woman replied, “The well is deep, how will You draw water? And wherever can You get living water?”

Jesus said, “Whoever drinks of My living water will never thirst again because the water I give will bring eternal life.” See John 4:13,14

He explained that God is spirit and worshipers must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24) The woman replied, “I know the Messiah (Jesus) is coming.” And Jesus answered, “I am He.” 

Another time that Jesus shared the gospel was when He met Nicodemis who was a member of the Jewish Council. He knew Jesus came from God because of the amazing miracles He did. What did Jesus say to Nicodemus? Read John 3:3. “You must be born again in order to enter God’s Kingdom.” Jesus shared in John 3:15 that everyone who believes in Him would have eternal life.

John 3:16 is the most famous verse in the Bible. Do you know what it says? Read it and find out. It talks about God loving the world so much that He gave His own life so we could live forever with Him in heaven one day. 

Jesus loved sharing the good news of the gospel with everyone He met. Before going back to heaven, He gave His disciples a very important assignment. It’s called "The Great Commission."  Read Matthew 28:19,20. 

Are you ready to be His disciple and share His message of love with someone? Then GO and pray like Jesus, love like Jesus, and share like Jesus!
